The referee blows his final whistle, Zamalek win the African Super Cup with an impressive 3-1 victory over Esperance. 

90+3' Bencharki caps his efforts with a second goal as Zamalek put the result to bed. He finished off a sweeping counter attack with a dinked effort over the keeper.

39' A golden chance spurned by Zamalek!! A neatly-worked move sees Achraf Bencharki sends in a low cross, which eludes Mostafa Mohamed and finds Ahmed Sayed, whose goal-bound shot is deflected for a corner.

16:00 Zamalek and Esperance will face off in two other games in the Champions League quarterfinals. The first meeting will be on 29 February in the first leg while the second leg will be played on 6 March at Stade olympique de Rades in Tunisia.

13:00 Esperance de Tunis coach Moine Chaabani confirmed his team's readiness for the African Super Cup game against Zamalek.

"We will face Zamalek three times in three weeks. Esperance are ready for the African Super Cup game and the players are ambitious to win the title," Chaabani told Tunisian newspaper Assabah.

12:00 Zamalek coach Patrice Carteron confirmed that the game against Esperance will be difficult as the Tunisian side have dominated their group in the Africa Champions League.

"I respect Esperance as a big team in Africa and I respect their coach Moine Chaabani," Carteron said ahead of the game.

"The game will be difficult despite the departure of the influential players from Esperance squad but the Tunisian team still performing well in all competitions," the Zamalek coach added.

11:30 Egypt's Zamalek, who won the Confederation Cup last season, are set to face Africa Champions League winners Esperance of Tunisia in Qatari capital Doha on Friday.
