No changes in the Premier League relegation zone as four games end on stalemate

Alexandrian giants Ittihad go home with a crucial point after holding hosts Arab Contractors to a 1-1 draw on Day 15 of the Egyptian Premier League.

Mohamed El-Morsy came off the bench in the opening 10 minutes replacing injured Hani El-Egeizy to break the deadlock in the 16th minute.

Bassem Ali brought the score level again seven minutes before the break and neither team was able to go further.

In Alexandria, Smouha were also held by Wadi Degla 2-2. Mohamed Mekki (19 minutes), and Syrian striker Abdel-Fattah Al-Agha (84 minutes) earned a point for the visitors after canceling Ahmed Belal (30 minutes) and Ghanaian striker Samuel Affum (82 minutes) home goals.

Earlier in the day Gouna also failed to prove their supremacy at home after being held to a 2-2 draw by Talae El-Geish. Amer Sabri broke the deadlock for the visitors in the 47th minute Ahmed Omran (48 minutes) and Shawki Al-Saied (68 minutes) to get in the lead. But only for two minutes as Yassin Abdel-Aaal fired an amazing ball into the net to bring the score level again.
