Earlier in the day Gouna also failed to prove their supremacy at home after being held to a 2-2 draw by Talae El-Geish. Amer Sabri broke the deadlock for the visitors in the 47th minute Ahmed Omran (48 minutes) and Shawki Al-Saied (68 minutes) to get in the lead. But only for two minutes as Yassin Abdel-Aaal fired an amazing ball into the net to bring the score level again.
