Zamalek star Mahmoud Abdel-Razek Shikabala will travel with his team to Kenya where they meet Ulinzi Stars on Saturday after the resolution of his issues with the club.

“Shikabala’s problem with the technical staff has been solved. The player will feature in Tuesday’s training and then will travel with his teammates to Kenya,” Zamalek president Galal Ibrahim said on TV.

The 24-year old player had been excluded from the Kenyan trip after missing training sessions without permission.

He was reported to have had a falling out with coach and football director Hossam Hassan and Ibrahim Hassan in the dressing room after the 0-0 draw against El-Entag El-Harby last Friday.

“We know that the dispute is an internal affair for the technical staff, but at the same time I am sure that Shikabala is a kind but a short-tempered person,” added Ibrahim.

Zamalek’s clash with Ulinzi Stars will be their first continental game since 2008 when they last took on Sudanese side Al-Hilal in round 16 of the African CAF Champions League.
