The Egyptian Football Association (EFA) players affairs committee decided Wednesday to extend the transfer window until 6 September.

The window was supposed to be closed on 16 August but the committee, led by Salah Ramadan, decided on the extension due to the “foggy future” of the country’s football league.

The new football season is still doubtful after last season was canceled due to the Port Said disaster, which led to the death of 74 Ahly fans during clashes with Masry fans.
