Belgian side Lierse gave Egyptian coach Hany Ramzy a winning start after beating Gent 2-0 in the domestic league on Saturday.
A brace from Kostadin Hazurov on 20 and 68 minutes handed Lierse all three points, five days after they appointed former Egypt defender Ramzy as their new boss.
It is Ramzy’s first coaching experience away from home after he managed Egyptian side ENPPI and the national Olympic team.
Lierse lie 13th in the 16-team table on 16 points, just one above the relegation zone.
