The experience of Ahly's players will be a decisive factor in Sunday's clash against South Africa's Orlando Pirates.

The Ahly delegation landed in Johannesburg on Thursday to prepare for their last round in the group stage of the CAF Champions League.

"All players are ready for the match against Orlando, and of course their experience will be a key factor in winning the match and ending the group stage as our group leaders," Ahly's assistant coach, Ahmed Ayoub, was quoted as saying on the Ahly official website on Saturday.

Despite having already sealed their qualification for the semis after beating their rival team, Zamalek, last week, the Ahly players are determined to avenge the 3-0 defeat they suffered against the Orlando Pirates in Gouna, Egypt last month.

"The atmosphere in our camp in Johannesburg is great. All players are fully concentrated to return with a positive result," said Ahly's coach.

Seven-time African champions Ahly are at the top of Group A with ten points, three points ahead of the second-ranked Orlando Pirates, who have a chance to emerge as group leaders if they beat the Egyptians at home.
