Ahly coach Mohamed Youssef called on his side to avoid complacency when they host Cameroon's Coton Sport in the second leg of the African Champions League semi-final on 20 October.
The title holders are favourites to reach the final for the second consecutive year after holding Coton to a 1-1 draw in Garoua in the first leg.
"Ahly must be humble against Coton Sport. There is nothing impossible in football and the Cameroonians still have an opportunity [to qualify for the final]," Youssef told the club's official website Wednesday.
The rookie coach also said he hoped Ahly's Egyptian internationals would return from Ghana with "high morale" as the Pharaohs will face Ghana in the first leg of the World Cup qualifying playoff on Tuesday.
Ahly, who are bidding for their eighth Champions League title, host Coton Sport five days later at the Gouna stadium in Hurghada.
"We will not reschedule the game." Youssef confirmed.
