Ahly goalkeeper Sherif Ekrami and midfielder Hossam Ashour will take part in the game against Cameroonian side Coton Sport in the second leg of the CAF Champions League semi-finals on Sunday after recovering from injuries sustained during Egypt national team 6-1 loss to Ghana in the 2014 World Cup qualifiers.

Goalkeeper Ekrami suffered a knock in his left knee that sent him off the game against Ghana in the 55th minute, while Ashour sustained a knock in the 43th minute of the game and was replaced by Ahmed Elmohamady.

"Ekrami's injury won't sideline him from the game against Coton Sport," Ahly football director Sayed Abdel-Hafiz told the club's official website, adding that the goalkeeper "will undergo scans to ensure his ability to play the full 90 minutes, but he is fit for the game."

"Ashour's injury is not serious either," Abdel-Hafiz concluded.

Cameroon's Coton Sport delegation arrived to Egypt Wednesday for the second leg of the CAF Champions League semi-final against Egyptian Champions Ahly.

The Cameroonians headed directly to the Red Sea's Al-Gouna where the match will be held Sunday 20 October. They will hold three training sessions before the game.

Ahly, seven-time winners of the CAF Champions League trophy, have been boosted by the return of their 11 international players from national duty as the Egyptian national lost to Ghana in the World Cup qualifiers.

Cairo giants Ahly have the upper hand as they finished the first leg game against Coton Sport with a 1-1 draw in Cameroon.
