Zamalek defender Mahmoud Fathallah has been taken to hospital after he sustained cut to his head during a friendly against Bahtim.
Fathallah played for 37 minutes and scored a goal in the game amid preparations for Tala El-Geish clash in the Egypt Cup semifinal on Sunday.
Zamalek doctor Mostafa El-Monairy accompanied the 31-year-old to the hospital after giving initial treatment.
The 21-time champions last won the Egypt Cup in 2008, before Haras El-Hodoud clinched it twice and ENPPI won it in 2012.
