Ahly coach Mohamed Youssef has expressed his pleasure for the 3-0 win over Ragaa on the 5th matchday of the Egyptian Premier League on Saturday.

African champions Ahly were boosted by the return of recently recovered key players Ahmed Fathi who scored the opener and winger Sayed Mowad.

"The injured players return to the squad is the best thing about the Ragaa win," Youssef was quoted as saying on the club's official website after the game.

Fathy, who was nominated for the CAF best player of the year 2013 award (based in Africa), scored the opener in the first half and young forward Amr Gamal hit the second after the break.

Striker El-Sayed Hamdy made it three in the 70th minute to complete the rout.

Ahly are in the driving seat of Egyptian premier league group A with 12 points.
