Former Ahly forward Dominique Da Silva is on the brink of joining Zamalek after passing a medical, the White Knights said on Sunday.

The 24-year-old has amicably terminated his contract with Zamalek's arch-rivals Ahly earlier this month.

"Dominique Da Silva has passed a medical," a Zamalek team doctor told Ahram Sports on Sunday.

Da Silva, who joined Ahly in 2011, sustained several injuries that hampered his chances of playing regularly with the African champions.
