Mido is on the right track to break through Ajax starting line-up

Ajax coach Martin Jol told De Telegraaf , praising the Egyptian striker Ahmed ‘Mido’ Hossam but warning him to keep his head on his shoulders and make more effort.
"Ahmed Hassan and Mohamed Nagui Gedo are good candidates for the CAF Player of the Year as they have accomplished a lot at club and international level. However I don’t think that either of them will win because the poll is based on the votes of the coaches and they usually have their own standards and prefer European-based players."
Hassan Shehata was quoted saying in Al-Ahram daily newspaper.
"Zamalek supporters are the best in Egypt as they stand behind their team in critical times, so I'm pleading that Ahly follow in their footsteps."
