Egypt's U-23 national football team will face Uganda in the third round of the 2015 African U-23 Championship qualifiers.
Uganda defeated Rwanda 4-1 on aggregate in the second round of qualifiers on Saturday, earning them a date to face the young Pharaohs in the next round which kicks off in July.
The young Pharaohs defeated Burundi 4-0 on aggregate early in April and booked a place in the All-Africa Games that will take place in Brazzaville, Congo from 3-18 September as well as reaching the third round of African U-23 Championship qualifiers.
The top three teams at the tournament, which will take place from 28 November to 12 December in Senegal, will qualify automatically for the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, where the fourth-placed team will engage an Asian side in a playoff.
