Egypt's U-20 team during training
The Young Pharaohs coach, Diaa El-Sayed is optimistic that his squad has a good opportunity to reach the finals and is working on the tactics in Barranquilla military stadium in Colombia where they train.
“I want to win the Cup but I am focused now on the group stage,” El-Sayed said earlier.
The players have appeared enthusiastic during the training sessions and they are eager to pass big gun, Brazil when they meet on 29 July.
Under the presidency of Magdy Abdel-Ghany, the Egypt delegation have received a warm welcome by the embassy in Colombia.
The young Pharaohs are in a hard group, as they will face Austria and Panama after Brazil.
The weather in Barranquilla city is another challenge for the team, as the temperature there is around 35 and the humidity reaches 90 per cent.
