Egypt U-17 lose to Ethiopia at home

The Under-17 Egyptian national team football team have lost 3-1 to rivals Ethiopia at home on Saturday in their first leg qualifier to the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations.

At the Petro-Sport stadium in Cairo, the young Pharaohs - under the helms of coach Yasser Mohamadein - have scored the match's first goal in the 17th minutes by Mahmoud Abdulaah before the Ethiopians netted three goals.

To qualify, the team need at least a 3-0 win away in Addis Ababa after two weeks, or draw with the same results to play penalty shootout.
