Egypt's U-20 national team were drawn in Group A of next year's Africa U-20 Cup of Nations alongside Mali, Guinea and Zambia.

Meanwhile, Cameroon have been drawn alongside Senegal, South Africa and Sudan in Group B of the tournament.

The young Pharaohs booked their place in the 2017 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations after beating Angola 5-0 on aggregate in the qualifying playoff last July.

The Nations Cup will take place in Zambia on 26 February until 12 March as the top four teams will qualify for the 2017 U-20 World Cup in South Korea from 20 May to 11 June.

Egypt, who missed the 2015 Nations Cup, won the 2013 edition and reached the World Cup in the same year but were eliminated from the group stage.
