Egypt coach Hector Cuper called up 15 home-based players on Tuesday to join a closed camp in preparation for the game against Tunisia in the first round of the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
Egypt start the AFCON 2019 qualifiers campaign against North African neighbors Tunisia on 11 June.
The Egyptians have been drawn in Group J alongside Tunisia, Niger and Swaziland.
The group champions will make it to the tournament stage in Cameroon in January 2019, along with the three best teams from among those taking second place in the group stage.
Ahly duo Hossam Ashour and Amr Gamal returned to the Pharaohs squad announced on Tuesday after a long absence from the international scene.
On 21 May, Cuper called up ten foreign-based players for the Tunisia clash.
The preparatory camp is set to start on 4 June, six days before the important game.
