The Egypt national team arrived in Cairo late on Thursday for a day’s rest before a final training session on Saturday which will see fan attendance, the Egyptian Football Association said.

The Pharaohs will fly to Russia early on Sunday for the World Cup, the team’s first since 1990.

Egypt will kick off their World Cup campaign on 15 June against Uruguay and then face hosts Russia on 19 June. Their final group-stage match will be against Saudi Arabia on 25 June.
