Egyptian Football Association (EFA) board member Magdi Abdel-Ghani has announced that they received more offers to play friendly games next month after the Pharaohs' superb performance in the 2019 African Cup of Nations qualifiers.

"We have more offers from the Brazil Football Association and Argentinean FAC to play a big friendly in November, and will face one of them after facing Tunisia in the qualifiers," Abdel-Ghani told a television programme late Wednesday.

Under the helm of Mexican coach Javier Aguirre, the Pharaohs managed to score 12 goals in three games, crushing Niger 6-0, beating eSwatini 4-1 at home, before winning away 2-0 in the 2019 African Cup of Nations qualifiers.

Egypt, who are second in Group J of the 2019 AFCON qualifiers with nine points, are set to face the group's leaders Tunisia in the 5th round on 16 November.

"After playing Tunisia in the qualifiers, Egypt will confirm their ability to win the trophy," the EFA board member said.
