Egypt director Mohamed Barakat said on Wednesday that the national team will start their campaign in the Nations Cup qualifiers on 14 November when they host Kenya before facing Comoros away four days later.

The Pharaohs will face Botswana in a friendly game on 14 October as they gear up for the Nations Cup qualifiers.

Botswana's friendly will mark the debut of new coach Hossam El-Badry, who took over last month following the sacking of Mexican Javier Aguirre.

Egypt were drawn in Group G alongside Kenya, Comoros and Togo.
