90+3' Egypt make their final substitution, Abdel-Rahman Magdi makes way for Mohamed Sadek. 

90+1' Egypt make a substitution, Mahmoud El-Gazzar replaces Ahmed Ramadan.

19:00 Egypt coach Gharib keeps faith with winger Abdel-Rahman Magdi on the right, while fielding Ammar Hamdi instead of Emam Ashour. 

Gharib has just one position to be determined yet. Following the injury of Nasser Maher, Emam Ashour and Ammar Hamdi have been deployed as playmakers but both failed to make an impact.
17:00 Egypt hopes Mostafa Mohamed will maintain his scoring form as he scored four goals in three games so far.

16:00 Gharib also stressed that the technical staff studied the South Africa team well, promising to meet the Egyptian fans' hopes of winning the title and reaching the Olympic Games.

15:30 "The game against South Africa will be difficult as they are a well organised team," Gharib said.

"We have not achieved our target so far, as we have a big target of winning the game as well as book a place in the Olympic Games," the young Pharaohs' coach added.

15:00 South Africa booked their place in the semifinals after they placed second in the Group B ranking with five points, while Egypt achieved the full mark of nine points to snatch the top place in Group A.

14:15 Egypt skipper Ramadan Sobhi said on Monday that South Africa is a smart team especially as they didn't concede a single goal since the tournament start, but at the same time he heaped praise on Pharaohs' striking abilities after hitting the net six times since the tournament start
