Egypt have defeated Lebanon 4-1 in a friendly without their Ahly and Zamalek players who will turn out for their clubs in African Champions League action this week.

A fifth minute goal by Ahmed Sayed "Okka" gave Egypt the upper hand and they dominated their opponent throughout the game.

Ahmed Hassan Mekki snatched the second goal on 20 minutes, a few minutes before Lebanon striker Ali Basem scored his side's only goal from the penalty spot.

One minute before the break, Ahmed Temsah scored Egypt's third.

In the second half Lebanon did their best but their efforts were repelled by Egypt's defence.

Ahmed Khairi scored the fourth goal.
