El-Gabbas, Ahmed Khairy and Bassem Ali are expected at training Wednesday amid preparations for Egypt's African Nations Cup qualifier against Central African Republic on Friday

The Pharaohs will begin preparing for Friday's African Nations Cup qualifer against the Central African Republic with a training session on Wednesday.

“Lierse’s Dody El-Gabbas will join the team today in addition to the duo that missed the Guinea World Cup qualifying match, Ahmed Khairy and Bassem Ali,” goalkeeping coach Zaki Abdel-Fattah told Ahram Online.

The team has arrived in Alexandria where they are holding their training camp in the Borg El-Arab Stadium and “they will rest till 8pm before starting the training.”

“There will be new faces at the match as coach Bradley wants to give opportunities to as many players as possible,” he added.
