The Egyptian national team's technical unit hasn't made final selections yet for the 19 November second-leg of the Africa playoffs to the 2014 World Cup against Ghana.
"American coach Bob Bradley hasn't finalised his squad for the Ghana match yet. He is waiting to see how the players perform in the Egypt Cup and African Champions League finals. He is also monitoring international players," Bradley's assistant Diaa El-Sayed told Ahram Sport Tuesday.
Egyptian champions Ahly, who participated with an eleven-player away squad in Kumasi, will compete on 2 and 10 November for the CAF Champions League title against South Africa's Orlando Pirates.
The Egypt Cup is the first domestic football activity to be held in the North African country since the ousting of former president Mohamed Morsi in July.
Zamalek, Ismaily, Tala El-Geish and Wadi Degla are competing for the Egypt Cup, the final of which will be held on 9 November.
"Each match has its own challenges. We will ensure that we give an opportunity to those who are ready," he added.
El-Sayed said that the squad will be announced on 14 November.
Egypt's dream of reaching the most prestigious tournament after 24 years of absence is fading after losing 6-1 away in the first-leg on 15 October.
