The winger started Chelsea's game against Cardiff but was replaced in the 79th minute. He wasted a couple of goal-scoring chances in Chelsea's 2-1 win.

Mohamed El-Neny (Basel)
The midfielder was kept on the bench as Basel lost 3-1 to Young Boys in the Swiss league.

Ahmed Elmohamady (Hull City)
The right winger played the full 90 minutes in Hull's 2-0 Premier League defeat by Everton. 

Shikabala (Sporting)
The winger made his debut with Sporting after coming on as a substitute in the 77th minute of Sporting's 1-0 Portuguese league defeat by Estoril

Ali Ghazal (Nacional de Madeira)
The defender played the full 90 minutes in Nacional's 1-0 Portuguese league defeat by Gil Vicente. He was booked in stoppage time.  

Saleh Gomaa (Nacional de Madeira)
The midfielder played the full 90 minutes in Nacional's 1-0 Portuguese league defeat by Gil Vicente. 

Ahmed Hassan "Koka" (Rio Ave FC)
The striker missed Rio Ave's 1-0 Portuguese league defeat by Maritimo.
