Egypt winger Mohamed Salah has been named in Chelsea's squad for an English Premier League game for the first time this season amid reports that he might be loaned out before the closure of the transfer window on Monday.
Salah missed Chelsea's first two matches of the season against Burnley and Leicester City, sparking rumours over his future at Stamford Bridge. However, he was named as a substitute in the Blues' clash against Everton on Saturday.
The 21-year-old , who joined Chelsea last January from Swiss side Basel, is facing a tough competition with several attacking midfielders in a star-studded squad.
A recent report by the Guardian claimed that Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho is obliged to send one of his foreign players out on loan and that his choice will be between Salah and his Dutch teammate Marcovan Ginkel.
Egypt coach Shawky Gharib has recently advised Salah to leave the Blues if he continues to be stuck on the sidelines.
