Everton coach Roberto Martinez said on Tuesday that his side are not seeking to sign Chelsea's Egyptian winger Mohamed Salah on loan in the January transfer window.

Salah's future with Chelsea has been the subject of speculation recently due to his limited playing time with the Blues. He has only played 13 minutes with the club in the Premier League this season.

Several reports suggested that Everton are considering terminating the loan deal of Chelsea's Ghanaian midfielder Christian Atsu's to bring in Salah in January.

According to the Premier League regulations, "no more than one player can be loaned from a particular club" a season.

"RM also dismisses speculation that Christian Atsu could be swapped with fellow Chelsea winger Mohamed Salah in January," Everton said on their twitter account on Tuesday.
