Egyptian striker Ahmed Hassan 'Koka' notched his seventh goal in the Portuguese league as Rio Ave claimed a 2-1 win over Pacos de Ferreira on Saturday.

The 21-year-old, who joined Rio Ave as a youngster in early 2012, started the game and opened the scoring two minutes before the break to continue his fine goal-scoring run in Portugal's top flight.

He was replaced with seven minutes remaining as Rio Ave moved to sixth place with 23 points.

Koka scored nine goals in all competitions, including eight in 11 league appearances. He made 3 international appearances with Egypt's senior team, scoring once.

Egypt's former coach Shawky Gharib was criticized for snubbing him in the final qualifying matches as the team failed to reach the 2015 African Cup of Nations for the third time in row.
