Egypt and Chelsea winger Mohamed Salah is on the brink of a switch to Serie A side Fiorentina, according to press reports in Italy and England.

Sky Sports revealed on Thursday that Chelsea have included the 22-year old winger as part of a deal to sign Ecuador winger Juan Cuadrado.

Both sides are still in negotiation over the fee as the Fiorentina ace has a release clause of £26.8m but it seems that the deal could be sealed soon.

La Gazzetta dello Sport have confirmed in their report that Salah's move will be until the rest of the season and Chelsea will be paying his wage during the loan.

Mourinho, who have previously declared that he doesn't have any plans to go on the market during this transfer window, is forcing a move for Cuadrado, 26, as German winger Andre Schurrle has been linked with a move back to Bundesliga side Wolfsburg.

Salah has been linked with several teams, including Serie A title contenders AS Roma, but they couldn't meet the Blues' financial demands.
