Fiorentina coach Vincenzo Montella said on Friday Egypt's Mohamed Salah is not facing a language barrier because he speaks English well.

Winger Salah, who joined Fiorentina from English Premier League leaders Chelsea on loan until the end of the season, made his debut in the team's 3-2 Serie A win over Atalanta last Sunday, having come as a substitute five minutes past the hour mark.

"Salah speaks English well, we understand each other … there are no problems," Montella told a news conference ahead of Fiorentina's game against Sassuolo on Saturday.

The 22-year-old is likely to make his second Fiorentina appearance when they take on Sassuolo.

"It might be difficult for Salah to play full 90 minutes, but he is physically ready," Montella added.
