Egyptian striker and Rio Ave top scorer Ahmed Kouka was stretchered off in his side's Portuguese league game at home to Benfica on Saturday after sustaining an injury.
Kouka fell awkwardly in the halfway line as he changed direction to escape his marker. He was replaced with Portuguese forward Ukra seven minutes before the break.
It's not immediately clear whether the injury he picked up is serious.
Kouka is one of Rio Ave's best performers this term, having netted 15 goals in all competitions so far, including 12 in the Portuguese league.
The 22-year-old, who came through the youth ranks of Egyptian giants Ahly, is five goals behind the league's top scorer Jackson Martinez of Porto.
He earned a call-up to Egypt's squad for the upcoming friendly game against Equatorial Guinea on Thursday, which will mark the debut of new coach Hector Cuper.
