Bundesliga side Wolfsburg are expected to vie fiercely for Mohamed Salah's services after his Fiorentina loan spell ends by the end of the season, according to Italy's La Gazetta dello Sport and Calciomercato.

After being reportedly linked with Serie A leaders Juventus, who were at the receiving end of Salah's explosive form at Viola after he scored two goals against them in Coppa Italia, there seems to be more clubs keen on landing the Egyptian next summer.

According to La Gazetta Dello Sport, Bundesliga second-placed Wolfsburg are set to table a 20-million-euro bid for the return of the services of Salah, who is currently on a six-month loan in Florence from parent club Chelsea.

With the sale of Kevin De Bruyne to Bayern Munich expected to generate the needed cash to fund Salah's deal, Wolfsburg are now set to pose a big threat to Fiorentina's attempt to retain the Egyptian's services for another loan spell.

It remains to be seen what the 22-year-old's next destination will be, after taking the Serie A by storm having scored six goals in 11 appearances so far.
