Egypt winger Mohamed Salah has reportedly left Fiorentina's Monday trainings to undergo medical examination at the hospital, according to Viola News website.
"Two players left accompanied by Dr. Manetti; Micah Richards and Mohamed Salah," Viola News stated.
The Italian website did not provide details about the nature of the 22-year-old possible injury, saying "more updates are expected in the next few hours."
The Pharaoh was praised by his coach Vincenzo Montella after he scored a brilliant goal during the 3-2 win over Empoli in Italy's Serie A on Sunday.
Fiorentina need Salah for Europa League game against Sevilla in the second leg of the Semi-finals on Thursday. The first leg finished with a 3-0 win for the Spain La Liga side.
