Arsenal's Egyptian midfielder Mohamed Elneny could start in his side's upcoming FA Cup clash with Hull City, coach Arsene Wenger said on Thursday.

An Egyptian face off in the FA Cup could be secured on Saturday if Elneny plays the game as Hull City depends regularly on winger Ahmed Elmohamady.

Elneny, who joined Arsenal in January, made a single appearance with the Gunners against Burnley in the fourth round of the FA Cup, and is yet to make any Premier League appearances since his arrival to the Emirates.

"Elneny is fit," Wenger told a news conference on Thursday.

"He is one of the players who could get a run [out] there.

"He’s mobile, he’s a very good player. He’s adapting at the moment and I think he’s there now. "We’ll certainly see him against Hull. He has a chance to start," Wenger said.
