Ramadan Sobhi (Stoke City)
The winger made his second Premier League appearance after coming off the bench with 11 minutes remaining but Stoke City lost 1-0 to Everton.

Mohamed Elneny (Arsenal)
The central midfielder started on the bench before being introduced on 70 minutes as Arsenal defeated Watford 3-1 in the Premier League. 

Ahmed Elmohamady (Hull City)
The right-back played the full 90 minutes and put on a fine defensive performance but one error cost him at the end, with Wayne Rooney skipping past him on the byline to set up a crucial winner for Manchester United in stoppage time. 

Ahmed Hassan "Kouka" (Braga)
The striker played the full 90 minutes in Braga's 3-1 over Estoril in Portugal and was shown a yellow card in the 58th minute.

Sunday 28 August 

Omar Gaber (Basel)
The defender played the full 90 minutes in Basel's 3-0 win over Thun 

Mahmoud 'Trezeguet' Hassan (Anderlecht)
The midfielder missed Anderlecht's 2-2 draw against Gent

Mohamed Salah (AS Roma)
Salah played the entire 90 minutes in Roma's 2-2 away draw against Cagliari.
