The midfielder played the full 90 minutes but Mouscron slumped to a 3-0 defeat by Club Brugge in the Belgian league. 

Saturday 24 September

Ahmed Elmohamady (Hull City)
The right-back was sent off on 29 minutes for a handball that gifted Liverpool a penalty as Hull City lost 5-1 in the Premier League. 

Ramadan Sobhi (Stoke City)
The winger was left out of Stoke City's squad for the 1-1 Premier League draw with West Bromwich Albion despite being named man of the match in a midweek League Cup game.

Mohamed Elneny (Arsenal)
The central midfielder was left out of Arsenal's squad for their impressive 3-0 victory over Chelsea in the Premier League. 

Omar Gaber (Basel)
The right-back stayed on the bench as Basel defeated St. Gallen 3-1 in the Swiss league. 

Ahmed Hassan "Kouka" (Braga)
The striker was left out of Braga's squad for the Portuguese league game against Vitoria de Setubal.
