Mohamed Elneny (Arsenal)
The central midfielder started the game before being replaced on 74 minutes as Arsenal were held to a 0-0 draw by Middlesbrough in the Premier League. 

Ahmed Elmohamady (Hull City)
The right-back played the full 90 minutes but Hull City slumped to a 2-0 loss to Stoke City in the Premier League. 

Ramadan Sobhi (Stoke City)
The winger was once again left out of Stoke City's squad as they beat Hull City 2-0 in the Premier League.  

Mahmoud 'Trezeguet' Hassan (Royal Excel Mouscron)
The midfielder started the game before being replaced in stoppage time as Royal Excel Mouscron lost 2-0 to KV Mechelen in the Belgian league. 

Omar Gaber (Basel)
The right-back played the full 90 minutes as Basel played out a 2-2 draw with Lugano in the Swiss league. He made the starting line-up for the first time in six games in all competitions.

Mohamed Salah (AS Roma)
The Egyptian winger scored a goal in Roma's 4-1 win against Palermo.

Ahmed Hassan "Kouka" (Braga)
The striker played until minute 70 in Braga’s 1-0 win over Chaves
