The winger was introduced in stoppage time as Stoke City threw away a 2-0 lead to draw 2-2 at home to Leicester City in the Premier League 

Ahmed Elmohamady (Hull City)
The right-wing back played the full 90 minutes but Hull City slumped to a 1-0 defeat by West Ham United in the Premier League. 

Mohamed Salah (AS Roma)
The winger made his comeback from injury after coming on as a second-half substitute against Juventus. However, Roma lost the Serie A clash 1-0. 

Mahmoud 'Trezeguet' Hassan (Royal Excel Mouscron)
The Egyptian midfielder has been dropped from the squad that lost to Sporting Charleroi 2-0.

Mohamed Elneny (Arsenal)
The midfielder appeared in as a second half substitute in Arsenal's 2-1 loss to Manchester City. He received a yellow card on minute 88.

Ali Ghazal (Nacional)
The Egyptian defender scored an own goal in Nacional's defeat at Rio Ave 2-1.
