AS Roma and Egypt star winger Mohamed Salah is fine with playing either out wide on the flank or in inside positions, the player said following the Serie A side's 4-1 league win over Torino on Sunday.
Salah, 24, was on target in Roma's decisive victory, bagging his side's second goal with a sensational volley from inside the box, scoring his eighth league goal of the season.
“I'm happy to be back and feature for Roma after helping Egypt reach the African Cup of Nations final, where we were unlucky,” Salah said.
“I will play wherever the manager asks; I like to play outside and I like to play inside. It's not a big difference for me.
“The team is doing well at the moment. I hope we continue like this and win something in the end.”
The left-footed Salah is usually deployed on the right with the club and his national team as an inverted winger, where he could depend on his stronger foot and strike towards goal.
Roma are currently second on the Serie A table on 56 points, seven behind Juventus and two clear of third-placed Napoli.
