Egypt and Arsenal midfielder Mohamed Elneny posted a photo of his injured leg on his official twitter account on Saturday with the caption "thanks be to God for everything."

Elneny was replaced by Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain at half-time during Arsenal's 2-0 win over Sutton United after a hefty challenge in the FA Cup last Monday, but no official statement by the team has revealed the seriousness of the Egyptian's injury.

Meanwhile, reports have suggested that that the 24-year-old midfielder had his ankle scanned after the win and that he has been ruled out for three weeks, though there has been no confirmation from the player himself or from the Gunners.

Elneny has made 11 Premier League appearances so far this season and has one assist to his name.
