Stoke City chief executive Tony Scholes has hailed the impact of Egyptian winger Ramadan Sobhi at the club in a very short period, stressing that this will benefit the club in many aspects.

"So far, Ramadan is doing very well. This can only help in attracting... young players from overseas. It can only help in giving the club a profile in certain markets, but I think it also helps with our own young players," Scholes told The Sentinel.

The 20-year-old Sobhi joined Stoke late last summer and now seems well settled, as he is set to start his sixth successive league game at Leicester on Saturday.

"It is still in the early days, but we have been really pleased with how well he's settled in and taken to the group, to training and being part of the club," Scholes added.

Sobhi has already made his mark in the Premier League with his pace and dribbling skills.

Coach Mark Hughes has hailed Sobhi's talent and said he has seen few in the world as good as he is in "twisting and turning" to outmanoeuvre his opponents.
