Egyptian midfielder Aly Ghazal has joined Feirense on a two-and-a-half-year contract, the Portuguese club announced on Sunday.

Feirense signed the 26-year-old Egypt international as a free agent after the expiry of his contract with Canadian club Vancouver Whitecaps, where he had made 36 appearances without scoring.

Ghazal started his career in Europe in 2013 when he left Egyptian side Wadi Degla for Portuguese club Nacional. In the winter of 2017 he made his move to Chinese team Guizhou Hengfeng, before signing to Vancouver in the summer of 2017.

Ghazal debuted with Egypt in 2014 and he has made seven appearances with the Pharaohs so far.
