Egypt's and Arsenal midfielder Mohamed Elneny has agreed to an offer from the Trukish side Galatasaray, according to Trukish reports published on Tuesday.
Galatasaray's director of football Şükrü Hanedar was reportedly in London in order to receive Elneny's approval in a deal rumoured to be officially announced within the next few days.
The reports were split between loaning the 27-year-old midfielder for a season, or Arsenal selling Elneny on a €8 million transfer deal.
El-Neny joined Arsenal's pre-season preparatory camp late, after his participation with his national team during the recent Africa Cup of Nations hosted by Egypt, where the Pharaohs were eliminated in the round of 16.
He made 17 appearances with the Gunners in all competitions last season.
The former Arab Contractors player joined Arsenal during the winter transfer market of 2015-2016 from the Swiss club FC Basel.
Arsenal ended the 2018-2019 season in fifth place of the Premier League's standing table. While Galatasaray were crowned both Trukish League and Cup winners last season.
