AC Milan’s Italian-Egyptian attacking midfielder Stephan El-Shaarawy assisted in his side’s first goal, edging to net the second goal in the 2-1 win over Udinese in the 23rd matchday of the Serie A League on Saturday.
“Thank you Pharaoh! Grazie piccolo grande,” the Italian side tweeted on Sunday.
“The game was very difficult as we faced a formidable adversary,” El-Shaarawy was quoted as saying on the club’s official site.
The 19-year-old player notched his second goal with Milan since he began wearing the team’s jersey this season.
“I’m happy to have scored my second goal with Milan, especially as the two goals were against Udinese,” he said.
El-Shaarawy, born in Italy to an Egyptian father, joined AC Milan last summer from Serie A outfit Genoa.
