Liverpool's Egyptian winger Mohamed Salah's returning date to the pitch remains unclear. Salah might miss the Premier League's next game against Crystal Palace, as he was still being treated for his ankle injury, according to British media reports.
Manchester City's midfielder Fernandinho intercepted Salah with a dangerous tackle which injured Salah in his left ankle, during the Premier League game from week 12, which ended by Liverpool's 3-1 victory.
Salah had suffered earlier this season from the same injury on 5 October, during Liverpool's win against Leicester City when he was tackled from Algeria's Hamza Choudhury, which prevented him from continuing the game.
The Egyptian national team have chosen to rule out Salah from the upcoming 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers, after they have found that the player is not recovered enough to participate in the camp or in the games against Kenya and Comoros on 14 and 18 November.
The 27-year-old winger visited the Pharaohs on Tuesday evening during the training session where he was pictured wearing a protective boot on his injured foot.
The two times' Premier League Golden Boot holder has participated in 11 matches this season, scoring six goals, and providing three assists.
