Egypt defender Ahmed Hegazi made his first start for West Bromwich this season as they beat Sheffield Wednesday 2-1 in the English second division (Championship) on Saturday.
The towering center back returned to the starting line-up after an injury had limited his appearances this season.
He was replaced in the 74th minute, making way for Gareth Barry.
Hegazi missed the early stages of the season after undergoing an ankle surgery in the summer, making his first appearance in a 1-0 victory over Middlesbrough in October.
He then fell down the pecking order as he was mostly confined to the bench.
His appearance against Sheffield is only his second this season.
