Few days after apologizing for his recent substitution outburst, Hosni Abd-Rabou created a goal for Ittihad Jeddah in their 1-0 Saudi League victory over Al-Faisaly.
The Egypt midfielder’s precise pass released Naif Hazazi to notch home with aplomb in the 57th minute as Ittihad claimed their second consecutive victory.
Abd-Rabou stirred controversy last Sunday when he reacted angrily after being substituted in the second-half of Ittihad’s 1-0 win over Al-Qadisiyah.
He did shake the hands of teammate Ayman Fadel, who replaced him, before pushing an advertising hoarding in anger on his way to the dugout.
The 27-year-old, who joined Ittihad from Egyptian side Ismaily on loan until the end of the season, later apologized for his tantrum.
“Abd-Rabou is a very good player, I was aware that he is that good,” Hazazi said after the victory over Al-Faisaly.
