Ittihad Jeddah's Egyptian midfielder Hosni Abd-Rabou scored twice on Sunday, helping his side to a 2-2 draw at home against Al-Hilal in the first leg of the Saudi's Cup quarter final.
Ahmed El-Faridy broke the deadlock after seven minutes to give Hilal an early lead.
Abd-Rabou responded shortly after when he curled an amazing free kick from 20 yards that went in the top corner in the 25th minute. He then put his team in front for the first time in the game when he rose above the defence to convert a fine cross.
Salem El-Dossary claimed a late equaliser for the visitors when he found the net in the 83rd minute.
Ittihad Jeddah will face a tough task next Thursday when they meet Al-Hilal in the second leg.
The 28-year-old Egyptian international has scored three goals since his arrival at the Saudi giants in January on a six-month loan deal.
