Hull City coach Steve Bruce has praised Egypt winger Ahmed Elmohamady after helping in Tuesday's 3-2 win over Leeds United, the first away match for the Tigers in the Championship season.

The Pharaohs player, who scored the equaliser and the goal lead, has performed well in the first three appearances during his loan spell with Hull City.

The coach seems satisfied with his quick adaption. "He did very well for me [at Sunderland] and I knew he would do very, very well in the Championship,” Bruce was quoted as saying on the club's official website, Wednesday.

"He’s a good lad and he wants to play football. He’s had a good start here and the system suits him, he plays the same position for Egypt and he plays it very well.

"All of the new lads have had good starts to their careers here and long may it continue," the coach concluded.

After six weeks, Hull City is now fourth of the Championship table with 13 points.

Elmohamady, who is on a season-long loan from Sunderland, set to be a huge success after making such an impact at Hull City since his last minute switch.
