Ahly striker Mohamed Nagy “Gedo”, who is on loan at newly-promoted English Premier League side Hull City, is undergoing foot surgery in England on Monday.

"Gedo's absence will be longer than expected as he will be off the pitch for more than four months for rehabilitation," Ahly doctor Ehab Ali told the club's official website Monday.

The 28-year-old made an instant impact after joining Hull on a six-month loan deal last January, scoring five Championship (second division) goals in 12 appearances to play a key role in helping the Tigers seal Premier League promotion.
